Bear Footin Cottage

This house had everything you need. It was very clean. Super quiet and very close to downtown Helen. Not really walkable due to no sidewalks into the town, although close enough to walk. If you’re tall, the showerheads are very low so you may have to bend over to wash your hair, but otherwise zero complaints.

This house was so clean and nice. My family and I loved it. Is a 2 minute car ride to downtown Helen and approximately 7 minutes walk. Has everything you need for a warm stay.

Cozy and comfortable. Very short drive from town (Helen GA). Quite neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We truly enjoyed our stay. Georgia Mountain Rentals has great customer service. Checked on us during our stay. Highly recommended and will book with them again on our next trip back.

Great to stay next door to my 82 year old mom. Made for enjoyable visit. Having separate space to cook, shower and sleep; not to mention sneak away for FUN and SIGHT seeing around town, neighboring towns too.

We had an amazing time in this lovely home. It was immaculately clean, cozy, and had everything you could possibly need for cooking, entertainment etc. Just outside of downtown Helen - so you get a quiet, peaceful stay while being a short drive into Helen, Anna Ruby falls, River tubing, restaurants etc. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The rental was extremely clean and well-decorated; there was lots of room. Perhaps upgrading the bed sizes from a Queen and twins to a king and a queen. Living room could have used a comfortable chair.

This is a cute cottage just outside of Helen GA. It is located 1 mile outside of town. To us we thought it would be walkable but you would have to walk into town via a highway where there are no sidewalks.
We got there and there was no ice so the management brought a bag of ice. The fridge does not have an ice maker.
There are no extras like shampoo or conditioner. It is a good thing that I usually travel with those items but some people do not.
In the kitchen, there are no spices or condiments so if you are going to cook you will need to either buy or bring.
The layout was a little awkward for 2 couples as the second bathroom was a good distance away from the second bedroom.
All in all this was a great little cottage for a long weekend stay.

We found this little cottage to be perfect for our days in Helen. Everything was clean and cozy - as my husband put it - the biggest small house ever.
We were less than 2 minutes from the center of town but off the beaten path. Our host, Sherry, was very helpful and friendly.

This was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in - and I've stayed in dozens (and own one). Beyond the crazy level of clean, the home and its features were over the top - everything we needed was there, nice quality, and appropriate. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, while simultaneously very convenient to Helen. Should we choose to visit Helen again, our first call will be to book this property again. Bottom line: this place was so nice and clean that I found myself looking for something wrong. After 3 days I found an obscure scratch on a door.

The house is just lovely. It is obviously recently updated. Decor is on trend and up to date in every room. Very cozy little cottage just outside downtown Helen on a quiet little street. Very picturesque. The house was very clean and everything was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this property.
