Chattahoochee River House 1

We have stayed at this condo several times. The location is excellent and we can easily walk to most of Helen. The condo is clean and well maintained.

Great location, walking distance to everything...loved listening to the river while sipping my coffee on the porch. Clean and plenty of space for our group. The grandchildren loved it. I will definitely book this location again.

The reservation process and checking in/out is very easy and property management courteous and professional. The rental has lots of room and is furnished nicely. It was very clean. The mattress coverings in the master bedroom were uncomfortable with the bottom sheet sliding off the mattress. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance and it is located in a quiet area. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch by the river.

Excellent location with river flowing in backyard. Home was nice and clean within walking distance to everything. Our last night was a little rough because tenants in condo above us were very loud. Also, it would have been nice to have complimentary shampoo as I had to run out to buy this.

Very nice cabin -cute bear and hiking decor and Christmas decorations still in place is a nice touch - wooden floors and comfy living room furniture make for a cozy setting - full size kitchen table and chairs - fairly quite with opportunity to sit on the screened in porch to enjoy the babbling water passing by.

If you are going to Helen for Oktoberfest, this is the place to stay! Right next door to the Festhalle, directly on the river, wonderful screened in porch. Perfect!

Beautiful and comfortable condo! We only stayed two nights, which wasn’t enough! We loved sitting on the screened-in porch watching the river and enjoying the fall weather.
This place is close/walking distance to Helen restaurants, shops, and the Festhalle. We will be back!

Stay stared a little bad as air conditioning was not cooling. I called the office and they thought it was because it had just been cleaned and probably had not been own but as the night went on it really never cooed down. Luckily with all the fans in the rooms we made it through the night. The next morning I called and Hal came right over. He determined it was frozen up and called the service company. It got fixed around 2 pm. We have stayed in this condo for at least 8-10 years but the traffic in Helen is so bad now we may have to find another place. You can’t get into a restaurant anywhere, anytime. Hal the maintenance guy was wonderful. Oh the shrubbery outside the condo is in dyer need of trimming.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about this rental. Very clean. Starter toiletries for everything that you needed. Comfortable beds. Close walking distance to town. The best thing was the view from the covered porch with awesome outdoor furniture. Cannot wait to return!!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. Beautiful view of the Chattahoochee River from the covered porch with ceiling fan. Fully stocked with starters for all your needs. Walking distance to downtown and great restaurants. We will definitely be back.

We (two adults & toddler) thoroughly enjoyed our time together at this beautiful, spacious, peaceful creekside condo perfectly within walking distance of Helen's Alpine Village. (Saving $10 for parking everywhere). The fireplace was warm and cozy, we enjoyed lunch on the porch, and at naptime, the master bedroom was dark enough toddler-approved. We enjoyed opening the doors to the balconies for fresh mountain air into our bedrooms. 1st overnight trip with my toddler and 1st time visiting Helen, GA. The customer service team was extremely helpful when we called and prompt response time from the after hours too. We were hoping the condo would have had a recycling container. We'd highly recommend this gorgeous condo! We loved it!

This is the 6th year we have stayed at this condo and it is decorated beautiful. The only thing we couldn’t find was pot holders in the kitchen.

Nearly perfect. The condo was clean and very nice and modern. Loved the screened in porch but the people directly across from us had dogs on their porch that barked continuously every time we stepped outside so we never got to enjoy it. Otherwise perfect place to stay!

This was a phenomenal unit. So clean and well appointed, with River views out every window and the screened porch. Walking distance to everything in Alpine Helen. Two en suite baths plus a powder room were a luxury. I also love renting through Georgia Mountain Rentals, who are so responsive and helpful. You avoid some common fees by renting directly from you and they then offer discounts toward your next return. They have earned my loyalty!

We had a REALLY great stay. The ONLY thing I would change is adding a chair or two to the living area to accommodate more people by the fireplace and TV. The pictures showed a chair, but it is no longer there. A comfy chair or two would be great.

Georgia mtn rentals was a great company to work with. They found what we were needing/wanting. Very helpful. Our only complaint was we had to leave a day early because of a death in family of close relationship and the owner, not GA mtn rental wouldn't refund the last nights rent. I can understand to certain extent but we it was an emergency not but choice.

Property is right on the river so relaxing by the water was great. The property is very well kept inside and outside. This was my 10th stay and will be coming back again. It is also close to the town center and walking distance to a lot of restaurants.

Great location and very clean. Hot water ran short, internet/TV did not work and the upstairs guest tried to be quite but very step echoed down stairs. Washing machine running at 6am is not the best thing to wakeup to.

A great experience. Very comfortable house, impecable sense for decoration, inmejorable location ( in the middle of the town and the living room and one of the bedrooms with river view). plenty outdoor space to play with kids. Heathers and fireplace work in a great condition. Full laundry and equipped kitchen. We experienced an issue with the Internet connection and landlord and management company resolved the issue ASAP and excused with us with a little present (beautiful detail). sincerely, I recommend this property, the landlord and the vacation rental company. The condo was so close to the river that you could hear the rushing water. Well furnished and plenty of room to move around. Within walking distance of the fest hall and downtown. No need to drive anywhere. We liked it so much that we booked it again for this summer.
