River Haus

We had a great stay at the River Haus! Everything went smooth from the original booking to communication before our arrival. The house was the perfect location on the river. Great for tubing which was our main focus. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this house to others.

we love the location. have stayed here several years.
the floors were a little sticky in kitchen and bathroom.
one bathroom had not had the garbage emptied. but overall it was great and we will be back next year.

River Haus is an awesome property. It appears to have been well maintained and cared for. Our family's ages are 62-87 so 6 recliners were perfect for us. Beds were all comfortable as well. Kitchen had everything we needed, (only ate one lunch out in 4 days/nights). Loved all the labeled light switches and misc. wall plates. We fished right off of the property, enjoyed the fire pit and being on the water was so relaxing. A very large outdoor basement area was a nice surprise. The only thing we would have benefited from was an ice maker but that's not a deal breaker when making another trip. All 7 of us loved it. We'd absolutely stay there again!

Such a cozy vacation property. The location is the best. It’s right on the River and everything is walkable if you choose. Beautiful cabin. Our master bed mattress was worn out, the owner went out the same day and purchased a new mattress. Great service. Highly recommend this for your vacation stay!

I can't say enough good things about this extremily beautiful, family-friendly, and perfectly-located cabin. We went to Helen during the Christmas season and you can see the town through the woods all lit up while standing on the cabin's deck. This cabin is also located on the river with access right outside the back door. We enjoyed this place so much that we didn't want to leave!

Beautiful cabin. Roomy. No hot water, but, they sent repair man asap. Water view was serene. Easy access to Helen Ga town activities. Would definitely rent again.

We absolutely adored this beautiful cabin on the river. So spacious and welcoming! Everything was so clean and well stocked. The well-equipped kitchen and outside grill and flat top grill were so convenient that we ate in most of the weekend! We spent our time outside enjoying coffee in the morning and sitting by the river waving to tubers the rest of the day. We will most definitely be back! Thank you!

Third time we have stayed here and we were overjoyed to see the new bedroom and outdoor kitchen additions. The deck and railings had been replaced only making the home that much better!!! One of our favorite vacation rentals in Helen!!!

Enjoyed another vacation week at the River Haus. The cabin is always welcoming upon arrival. All amenities are provided; all you need is a change of clothes. Perfect location. Walking distance into town but far enough away to have a peaceful time.

I've rented 50+ cabins in North GA and River Haus is one of the best experiences I've had. I pay particular attention to detail on all fronts, customer service to the physical presentation of the home. This property and company passed with flying colors. Perfectly presented, decorated for Xmas (big surprise), immaculate from top to bottom. If you call for assistance they pick up immediately and handle anything/everything promptly. The walk into the village was a few minutes. Picturesque as can be. The outdoor entertainment area downstairs is off the charts too.

We had another great time during Oktoberfest. The cabin is in a great location to explore Helen and the surrounding area. I can't recommend Georgia Mountain Rentals or this cabin enough. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed with all the amenities you could want. My dad and I also had a great fishing trip with Unicoi Outfitters.

We really enjoyed our stay at the River Haus. We have been here twice before years ago. We love that you added a bunk bed. I had originally planned on needing beds for 7, so that was a nice surprise. My son was glad he didn’t get the couch or air mattress. I did miss the big bathtub. We enjoyed staying right on the water. Our adult children enjoyed the jacuzzi and outdoor TV. I would highly recommend the River Haus.

The Riverhaus is the most beautiful home that I have ever rented. It is decorated with taste on every detail from the bedrooms to the kitchen. The downstairs lights are beautiful. The tiki bar and hot tub makes for a perfect night.I plan to rent this house again.

Our second time staying at River Haus and we enjoyed our vacation. We stayed at River Haus in February 2022 for the first time and this is our second visit and we had another great vacation. Convenient location, we enjoyed fishing and tubing. Our only suggestion is that a golf cart would be wonderful as this would be much better than walking to town! We will definitely stay again.

This house was amazing! Very clean when we got there and they have thought of everything. The hot tub, TV, refrigerator and bathroom downstairs was just perfect. We sat in the river most days enjoying the wildlife. This was our favorite VRBO yet...by far! Highly recommend!

Our daughter died on January 18, of this year. My husband, son in law, granddaughter and myself decided to go on a weekend getaway to begin our healing process. This cabin was perfect! The cabin has everything and I mean everything you could possibly need. We’ve stayed in cabin rentals for 10 years in the Helen area and this was undoubtedly the cleanest and most well equipped rental we’ve stayed in. We are already booked for June!

Hello Ga. Mtn. River Haus. I want to start off by saying that this location was a awesome choice. It was the most quiet, clean, and tranquil place and my group needed this so much. I so enjoyed this spot that we are planning another get away. The space, the rooms, the privacy, the kitchen, the wood work, the grain work, the decor, the view, and most of all the river. It rain majority of the time, but it was still magical and we were still able to visit the town and the festivities. I so enjoyed my 50th birthday in your city and most of all this cabin. Please thank your cleaning team. They did an awesome job in making our stay very comfortable considering during these times and I am a cleaning fanatic and I felt so comfortable to walk around barefoot. Superb team and superb location. Thanks to everyone for EVERYTHING.

Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance from our cabin. The cabin itself was so clean and beautiful maintained. The beds and pillows were exceptional! It was very spacious and easy for our group of seven to spread out and be comfortable. We thoroughly enjoy the hot tub and Tv downstairs under the cabin both nights we were there! The owners didn’t skip a beat on Christmas decor in and outside the property which made it extra special and festive for our families. Everything was in perfect condition and working order. By far one of the best cabins I’ve ever stayed in!

We had a good experience. The location of the house is fabulous, on the river and an easy walk to town. There were lots of dead ladybugs throughout the house but otherwise very clean and the beds were good. Appliances in the kitchen were modern. The house is large and can accommodate a large family gathering.

River Haus is a great cabin and the folks at GA MTN Rentals do a superb job of delivering a very clean cabin while being readily available to any requests.
Being within walking distance to Betty's and the bier gardens was very convenient. Still, it was very quiet and comfortable when sitting by the river or the porch.

there was only one issue that was a small tripping hazard. the corner of the dining room rug was turned up. i think there could have been a few more kitchen towels. one bathroom had zero toilet paper.
otherwise, it was perfect. will definitely be back

River Haus is a beautiful cabin in a perfect location. When we arrived it was very clean and extremely well stocked. We were very impressed with the downstairs patio area. So much seating, nice tv and we were surprised there was a full bath down there.

we absolutely loved our trip. there was only one problem, the upstairs ac would never go below 80. 2 people came to look at it on two seperate days and there seems to be a part that needs replacing. the couple that stayed upstairs was miserable at night and asked if we could get a free night on a future stay. other than that, we stayed outside the rest of the time and LOVED IT!! Everyone who I spoke to with the rental company, etc was WONDERFUL!! We sill definitely be renting from you again. we had the best time and absolutely loved the house!! thank you!

This cabin is amazing, we will be back next year! The cabin is in a great location, very spacious, and clean. We loved the river patio area, where we spent time around the fire pits, and our grandson enjoyed watching TV from the hot tub! This cabin has many great features, one of my favorites was the heated floor in the master bathroom. The management team was very helpful, when we called with any questions. Our family will be back next year, and yes we would recommend this cabin and management company to anyone.

My family & I enjoyed our stay at Christmas so much we rebooked for the summer. The owners had the house beautifully decorated for Christmas. The house was very clean an equipped for all the things you would need in the kitchen. Plenty of room for a large family to hang out an have enough room to entertain both inside & out. I would rate our stay 5 stars from booking out reservation to checking out. Georgia mountain rentals went above & beyond any of your expectations.

My family of 5 adults had a wonderful stay at the River Haus. It was well appointed, apparently recently upgraded with new furniture, etc., very clean, in a very good location right next to the river, and within walking distance to every thing in Helen. The online 3D view of the house is a good representation of this wonderful house.
The staff was very helpful in making the reservations and answering any questions.
Highly recommend the River Haus.
