Antlers on Buckhorn

Spacious, clean hidden gem in the north georgia mountains. Cabin was just as described. I especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with a variety of updated appliances and ample dinnerware for our party of five. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to use. The only caution is the location. It was quite tricky to find on the first day especially since we arrived after dark, but the staff were wonderful. We called the after hours line and they immediately answered and stayed on the phone until we found the cabin. I would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the steep hills and gravel roads. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was great. But when we went to get in the hot tub their was a bunch of white debris gloating around in the water. So we didn't get to use the hot tub. The hot tub was the only reason we book a cabin.

every year my son and I do a mother son Thanksgiving vacation. Gives him time to relax is us time to reconnect and we both love to hike so the various mountain trails or some thing we’re very attracted to. we both love to have an indoor wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor hot tub, which only adds two or four days away. This home was conveniently located to Helen and Blairsville. Another small town over the mountains, was clean, had most of what we needed to create a Thanksgiving dinner on the office was readily available for any questions. This is our fifth year staying with a Georgia Mountain rentals, and we will continue to do so.

Location exactly what we were hoping for nestled in the mountains. However we discovered several maintenance issues upon arrival including toilets running continuously, toilet handle fell off twice, hot tub jets x2 not functioning, batteries dead in TV controls, foozball machine electronics broken. We did notify management. In addition we called for a garbage pickup which didn't happen therefore we had to dispose 8 nights if garbage ourselves in public receptacles down town. ON a good note, the cabin was beautiful, beds very comfortable. Should recommend a 4x4 vehicle for terrain to the cabin.

Absolutely gorgeous get away!!
The cabin was everything we needed, from the location to the indoor/outdoor spaces. It was very clean and welcoming! We were in a perfect location for peace and quiet but also not far from the town of Helen and all the fun the town has to offer.
We are avid cyclist and hikers, so daily we could find some good hikes and biking spots that suited our needs. The beauty of North Georgia was outstanding. Thank you again for the wonderful stay, Georgia Mountain Rentals, we will be back.

Everything was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It looks exactly like the pictures and a wonderful get away. It is a difficult drive to get to the cabin but we had no problems in our 4 wheel drive truck. Close to downtown Helen. We would definitely stay there again.

Location was great -- neighborhood was peaceful and a short drive into town (Helen) and Unicoi. The road up was a little tricky - easier if you have AWD and its essential that you follow the directions from Ga mountain rentals. We enjoyed our stay!

It was a cozy beautiful stay! The views were wonderful! The foosball table was entertaining, the beds were comfortable! It was still close to Helen while still being off the beaten path! Only complaint was the towels in bathroom were not clean. They smelled like prior night bonfire and were dirty. We just ran out and got towels! Everything else was great!

We had a great weekend in Helen and would definitely stay here again. The house is specious and has a lot of amenities. Close to unicoi and downtown Helen. Anna Ruby Falls is a short drive away. The only things I would change would be more towels for the hot tub and lowering the chlorine. The hot tub was basically unusable because the chlorine was so intense.

The cabin was awesome; however, the roads to the cabin were dirt and some were very steep. There was a hot tub which was nice, and the foosball table was a place for our grandkids. They were 9 and 12. There is a desk off the living area with a nice grill and fire pit. We were taking a vacation to go to Helen GA to tube down the large creek downtown and through the mountains. The cabin was beautifully and rustically decorated.

We appreciate you taking the time to share about the cabin and your experience. We are pleased it worked well for the grandkids! There are 2 ways to get to the cabin. Sometimes people use GPS and it sends them the rougher way. The directions we send are for the easier route fyi.

Well the arrival was would have been better with a better navigator. Make sure you follow the directions that are sent to you. I followed my maps app. and ended up making I ng 4 tries to get up to the cabin driveway, due to the loose gravel on the hill.

Once we got into the house and off loaded, everything was great. The cabin was fantastic, it was missing a couple of cooking items (a cookie sheet for fries and a large frying pan). I bought wht was needed and left them when we checked out. We used the dishwasher as a dish rack, since there wasn't one. All of these were very minor details.

The cabin and it's amenities were fantastic. The location was 20 minutes from Helen.

I would highly recommend this cabin and Georgia Mountain Rentals.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Location was exactly what we asked for. It is located less than 10 minutes from Helen and about a 30 minute drive from there to the neighboring cities around Helen, like Dahlonega, and about an hour and 15 minutes from Blue Ridge. The cabin was immaculate when we got there, everything was clean and beautiful. Hot tub was so clean. We received a courteousy call around the 2nd day to make sure everything was how it should be. Thank you for that! We will absolutely use this company again! Love it!

Antlers on buckhorn was just as described.
Its theme had me feeling like I was in a hunters cabin with the numerous pieces of taxidermy on the walls. Place was clean and updated. Grill out on the back deck was a great. Hot tub was also a nice addition check the breaker in the bedroom if yiu have issues getting ti to turn on. The only issue seems to be the fridge and freezer combo seem to be going out freezer wouldn't keep anything frozen. The drive way if you go the way told, is a breeze had no issues in heavy rain with our Toyota highlander. We will definitely be back again!!

Beautiful cabin with the perfect configuration for four ladies. We loved the porch and spent a lot of time sitting out there. Close to downtown Helen but makes you feel alone in the mountains. Make sure to read instructions on how to get to the cabin. Very important!

Love the cabin! It was the perfect size for a family of 4 or a group of 3. The hot tub was perfect it had a nice sized deck. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen was a nice size. I would definitely rent this cabin again. My girlfriends and I had A-blast! And the staff was fabulous and they even checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was going great

We rented The Cabin Antlers on Buckhorn was an amazing cabin with everything that we could have ever wanted..The moment we walked through the door it felt like home.From the foosball table to the hot tub to the beautiful deck with the grill and fire pit to the gorgeous views that surround you as you step outside to the slope that went from the hot tub to the trees below..The decor of the cabin truly fit the cabin’s theme of Bears and Antlers.We truly didn’t want to leave as we truly had a wonderful mini Thanksgiving vacation in The Mountains..

The cabin is wonderful - beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and great amenities. We enjoyed roasting smores over the firepit and having foosball tournaments. The cabin is just a short drive from Downtown Helen, but remote enough to enjoy a peaceful stay. However, I would caution visitors - the cabin is located on the side of a very steep hill. BE SURE to follow the directions they give you regarding the route to take to get to the cabin (the other way is impossibly steep). Even with the route they advise, it is still rather difficult to get to the cabin (a very stressful experience for us Florida natives), so make sure you have a vehicle with 4-wheel drive (which we had).

We are a family of four with a tween and a teen. COVID-19 changed our vacation plans and we booked this house last minute so I was a bit anxious, but our experience was exceptional! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and felt like a home. It’s close to so many things if you want to venture out, but is out of the way if you just want a quiet retreat in the woods. The road up to the cabin is a little scary at first (my husband loved the road), but the scenery is beautiful. The rental company is very responsive and just couldn’t do enough for you; they answered any questions we had before booking and before arrival, checked in on us as we were on our way, and reached out during our stay to see if we needed anything. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

The cabin and location were exactly what we were expecting. The location was convenient and we like the outdoors/woods/dirt road environment. The cabin was clean, comfortable bedding and had everything we needed. The management company did a very nice job of checking in to ensure all was good. The only thing that could use some updating is the deck, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Upon arriving I wasn't able to make it to the cabin. It had been raining and the road to the cabin was too steep for me to climb in a FWD vehicle. On the third day of being there I finally found an alternate road leading to the cabin. I would definitely recommend for the company to add a detailed map of the cabins and all roads on their website. Other than that though, we had a really nice stay. The cabin was very clean, cozy and looked really nice. Awesome view from back deck! Loved the sound system with speakers in the house and outside. TV was on the small side, but it was a smart tv so that was a plus. Overall great cabin and really friendly management.

This cabin is off a long dirt road that we all absolutely loved!! Growing up with my daddy in the country we always took dirt roads and with him no longer being with us driving down those dirt roads back and forward to the cabin really reminded me of the good times growing up! Antlers On Buckhorn was super cute and perfect for our weekend getaway. This was my first trip without my munchkins in a long time and this cabin helped make our trip amazing!! Stephanie was our Host for booking and she also called to check in every so often to make sure we didn't need anything for our stay! We rent form GA Mountain Rentals a lot and they never let us down! This cabin was close to town and equipped with everything you need for your stay! I defiantly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to escape from life/reality for a bit! Coffee shops in Helen are close, Wendell's country restaurant is a must try! Just like eating in grandma's kitchen for sure!!

Great cabin and quite beautiful location. We will most defiantly come back to stay on next journey to the mountains.
A few days into stay a lightning storm hit during the night and took out ceiling fan and some electronics in cabin. Next day after a phone call , they we were fixed when we got back from an outing. Kudos on scheduling so we would not be imposed on .
Staff also kept in touch regularly via phone calls and texting ,to make sure if we needed anything and to schedule complimentary outings. We even locked ourselves out and within a short time they sent someone to let us in. this was our best cabin rental experience of all over many years.
Very great vacation!

I brought my family to this cabin for a weekend getaway in Helen. The cabin was small but there was plenty of room for a family of five to stretch out and relax. The location of the cabin was well off the beaten path which is what we were looking for. There were only two downsides to the property; The wifi didn't work at all. This wasn't a big deal to us as we were there to unplug but it is worth mentioning. The other downside was that we were unable to use the hot tub. the hot tub was covered by a lose fitting tarp as the actual cover was laying nearby and the water level was low so it seemed as if there hadn't been any upkeep on it for some time. Again, this wasn't a big deal for us but we would have liked to have used the hot tub. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and although we may not necessarily stay in this particular cabin, we will definitely be booking through Georgia Mountain Rentals again!

This location is great if you have children, the bunkbeds where great for my three kids, plus their cousins who ended up staying. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It looked exactly like the pictures. Layout of the patio and speakers great for a family gathering/ BBQ, which we did our second night their and the view of the sky was beautiful at sunset. This was my 6th stay with this company, and I have a great stay every time.

We love the Antlers at Buckhorn! This was our third year in a row. It feels like home to us. The furnishings are rustic but still modern with lots of natural light. There are lots of stuffed bears in the second room, which my kids loved. If I could critique anything is that the bed in the master is super loud when you turn over.
The cabin is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Helen. It’s also very close to Anna Ruby falls, which is well worth a visit.
Ga Mountain rentals is super accommodating if there is an issue. Our first stay, I wanted to clean up after my kids ate and dropped food on the floor, but there was no broom. I called them to let them know, and when we returned two hours later, there was a broom. Our second stay, the a/c went out, and they had someone out right away. The third time, our tv wasn’t working, and when I called I told them it wasn’t a big deal for us, I just didn’t want them to think we broke it. They brought us a new one, while we were under flood warnings. They are super sweet there.

Loved this house. Perfect for our girls weekend. All the personal touches in the cabin gave us lots to look at and made it feel like a special place to visit. Great layout. We were worried about the steep hill to get to the cabin but found the back way to get there - only about 1 minute longer. Location is perfect for visiting wineries and downtown Helen.

The cabin itself was great and had everything we needed for our family to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Our only issue was getting to the cabin. The drive up is on an unimproved road and our vehicle was unable to make it up the steep hill. Luckily someone at another cabin was able to direct us upstairs and around a different way to the cabin. Still a little dicey for a soccer van LOL. Also, NO cell service at the cabin for us. There was no land line phone in cabin which did concern me since I had small children and would not have had a way to call for emergency help if one of the kids were hurt or took ill.

The property was super nice! And was really clean, loved spending time there with my sisters. The only thing that I would say could have been improved is that, we specifically got a place with a hot tub to use, and this hot tub did not work. It was warm but the Jets or any of the buttons did not work. And it was really difficult to get there. We had to park our car at the bottom of the hill and walk up every time because our two wheeled drive could make the climb. But other wise the cabin was super nice and I would definitely recommend it to others.

My family of 4 stayed in Antlers on Buckhorn over a long weekend and had a great, relaxing time. The cabin had everything we needed, down to a hairdryer. The kids slept well in the bunk beds and loved hanging out in that room. We all had fun playing Foosball, sitting by the fire pit, and hanging out in the hot tub.

Overall we had an amazing time at the cabin !! Let's start with the only downside I seen and that the road getting to the cabin is very very steep and has loose gravel making it kind of difficult to get to cabin BUT we were notified of that before hand so it wasn't a surprise the cabin was decorated beautiful and the views of the summit we're gorgeous We will definitely rent this cabin again in the near future !!
